Tournament Report
'Spring Poker Tournament'
Reno, NV - Kevin Crawford captured the 2007 'Spring Poker Tournament' Championship event Sunday at the Peppermill. For his victory, Crawford received the Champion's handsome gold bracelet and $53,205 for first place.
The $1,060 buy-in Championship event attracted 155 players vying for $155,000 in prize money. Finally down to two players, Crawford still had to overcome world class player Hans 'Tuna' Lund to claim victory. Lund accepted 2nd Place and $30,295.
Kevin Crawford left no doubt he's got 'No-Limit Hold'em' game. He also took first place in a $120 buy-in '2nd Chance' No-Limit Hold'em event that drew 187 competitors the Monday before winning the Championship!
'I'm especially proud to win the Championship of such a great tournament and right here in my hometown,' Kevin said, 'The Peppermill and Poker Room Staff put on a terrific tournament.'
