Tournament Report
| TULSA, OK - Scott Shearer, of Bryant, AK, overtook the to win the 6pm, $100+20
No-Limit Hold'em event Friday, November 2 during the "Scotty Nguyen Poker
Challenge IV", at the Cherokee Casino, in Tulsa. "I'm happy… and
ready to play some more cards!" declared the proud winner, hugging his wife.
Scott collected $13,866 for his efforts in a brutal battle to the top. "I'm
glad I didn't chop earlier. This is much better!"
The "Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV", November 1 - 20, is showing
that numbers are up and buy-in's are down. This player friendly series of events
is "surpassing expectations. We've already had 1,452 entrants into the
first three tournaments," reports Tony Armstrong, Sr. Manager of Poker. |
