Tournament Report
Charlie Sewell Takes First Place
TULSA, OK -Charlie Sewell, of Edmond, OK, was the champion in the $200+30 No Limit Hold’em contest Monday, November 12, during the 'Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV' at the Cherokee Casino. Charlie collected $10,711 for 1st Place in the 198 person field.
'This was my second final table in two days,' Charlie explained. 'I placed second two days ago in the $500 + $50 No Limit event. It has been a great run!' Charlie has been collecting Card Player points and has a goal of winning three more tournaments.
So far, Charlie has made over $28,755 in winnings and has big plans for the Championship Event. 'If I stay on my game, I have confidence I will make it to that final table too!'
