Jay Hunter Outlasts Scotty Nguyen

TULSA, OK - Jay Hunter, of Tulsa, OK, scored a big win in the $2,000+80 No Limit hold ‘em tournament Friday, November 16, during the "Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV" at the Cherokee Casino. He made $87,179 for 1st Place in the 115-player field.

The star-spotted field drew crowds from beginning to end. Railbirds watched as Jay surpassed 2007 WSOP Champion, Jerry Yang, Barry Johnston, Tom "Captain" Franklin, Keith Lehr and Scotty Nguyen.

Jay shook his head in awe, and walked over to his family in a daze. He never really said much other than, "I won!"
