Tournament Report

The Terminator Hold-‘em event is always a popular one for Spirit Mountain. This one was no exception as a sold out crowd of 166 players participated in what turned out to be a record prize pool. What makes this tournament so popular is the $25 bounties paid for each player eliminated (all bounty money is added by Spirit Mountain.) No deals were made until only two players remained and Tam Nguyen and Eric Chan decided to make a deal. Each player received $9,922 and they continued play for $1 and the trophy. They battled back and forth for over an hour until Eric finally knocked Tam out and took home the trophy, and the final bounty. Spirit Mountain Casino would like to thank everyone who participated in this opening event of the First Annual Oregon Open Poker Tournament and making it a success.
