Tournament Report

Event 3 of the Oregon Open had 115 players battle it out to make the ‘top ten’. As in this tournament, the Final Table participants equally divided the prize pool to play No-Limit Hold-em with “real money” chips. A deal was made at 19 players to ‘save’ $200 to the next nine players eliminated. The final table players each had $2,860 in real chips to play with. Another ‘save’ was made and all ten players got $2,500, and played for the remaining $3,600 and the trophy. “Jimmer” outlasted the field and took home first place and the trophy.
