Tournament Report
Event #4 of the Oregon Open started with 111 of the toughest players in the Northwest. The prize pool was over $30,000 bringing the total for the first four events to $128,850 with the Oregon Open Championship yet to be played. The players agreed to pay 13th-19th $200 each, and refigure the prize pool. This was a final table where the favorites kept getting outdrawn by the underdogs, as several times the all-in player(s) caught the ‘magic’ card to stay alive. When play became 5-handed, the players agreed to take $4,000 each, and play for the remaining $3,060 and the trophy. Heads up, with a huge chip lead, Christian V. offered Shawn J. $1,000, and the tournament was over.
Spirit Mountain Casino would like to thank everyone who participated in this opening event of the First Annual Oregon Open Poker Tournament and making it a success.
