Tournament Report

The last event of the inaugural Oregon Open was the No-Limit Hold-em Championship event which drew 128 entrants. At 18 players, a deal was made that assured the next 5 players out a $200 payday. The final table started out slow, as the players were ‘feeling each other out’. Not too many flops were seen until play became 3 handed. A three way split was discussed, and rejected for about 10 hands or so, then Tam N., David S. and Florentino finally agreed to chop it up and play for the trophy. David S basically raised in the dark until he ran over the other two and into the championship. Spirit Mountain Casino would like to thank everyone who participated in this opening event of the First Annual Oregon Open Poker Tournament and making it a success.
