Dinh Le Wins First Poker Tourney in China at APPT Macau

Vietnamese born Dinh Le earned his spot in the poker history books today as he bested 352 entrants and a final table with former WSOP champion Joe Hachem, to win the first tournament on Chinese soil at the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Macau on Sunday.

The relatively unknown Dinh Le finally prevailed after a tough, eight and a half hour final table on its third day. After less than 10 hands of tense heads up play between Ivan Tan, Dinh Le prevailed with pocket eights versus A-T to take home the title and the $225,640 main prize, leaving Tan with second placing and a check for $129,536.
