Tournament Report

Mikhail Tulchinsky,a regular player at Cosmos Casino & well-known European competitor,came back from a 25 to 1 chip deficit,turning 14,000 chips into over 300,000 to defeat French player from the Cote d’Azur Philippe Zitrone. The final table saw the lead change several times,with Dmitry Lesnoy a huge chip leader at one stage. Oleg Rodin managed to finish 4th when holding the fewest chips throughout,a fine display in short stack play. Tulchinsky’s critical hand came up when he was all-in with 14,000 chips & won with a pair of 5’s. From there he was unstoppable,urged on by the huge crowd ,which virtually willed the local into a win from a virtually hopeless position.
