Tournament Report
| Alex Kravchenko,a player we predicted as one to keep an eye on in the future in yesterday's report, won tonite's pot limit Omaha event, with Russian players filling the first 5 places. Second & third were two of Russia's gun money players,Oleg Makovenko & Alexey "the gorilla"Popov. Two Aussies,as usual,in Mel Judah & Brian "the brain" McDonald placed on the final table.
Displaying an aggressive & power packed brand of poker the Russians have proved here tonite that when it comes to big bet poker they can match it with the best in the world.
In winning tonite,Kravchenko has gone to the lead in the Best Overall,& with 3 tournaments remaining he looks hard to overhaul. Hard on his heels are Gary Bush,Andrew Davey,Mel Judah,Alex Leviev,Ivan Gannitsky & Mixhail Tulchinsky, but with a good buffer one of the others will need to perform very well to have a chance of winning.
