Tournament Report
| It's a wonderful life....for this PokerShift Manager from Foxwoods. Immediately after the winning pot was pushed, and the little celebratory yelping, of course, Mark Rathbun pulled out his cell phone to call his wife Jane. After all, this is his first No-Limit Hold'em Tournament.
Mark expresses his gratitude to Mark Napolitano at PokerPages.com for the experience he received on PokerPages free on-line tournaments.
That's Entertainment! Finishing 2nd in today's No-Limit Hold-em Event, non other than the "Master" himself. Never letting his audience down, Men gave a thrilling performance which kept the fans enthralled and eager to watch every move. Gracious with his opponents, Men is a seasoned pro. He enjoys his annual visit to Atlantic City for the USPO tournament and the crowd enjoys his comdeic antics.
As the curtain came down on Event #3, the crowd applauded with support... for The Show Will Go On!
Gentleman Jim...? No.. that was Dave Ferrante, one of Atlantic City's own, walking away with the 3rd place finish in today's No Limit Hold'em Event. He came out fighting with both hands, gave it his all, "duking" it out against a tough field of contenders.
You got the right stuff kid, so stay in that ring. You're ready for a shot at the title fight!
We, at the Taj, would like to extend a warm welcome and show of appreciation to all the USPO participants. Many of you have traveled great distances, and we truly hope that your experience is a pleasant one.
