EFOP HEADS UP CHALLENGE
The draw is made, the encounters started today. Who will be the Champion? Here is the list of matches for the first day of the challenge.. Quickest matches were won by Bruno Fitoussi and Jeff Lissandro, who respectively defeated David DevilFish and Andrew Bloch in less than 12 minutes! Funny situation.. Ram 'Crazy Horse' Vaswani enjoyed his match with his challenger, Eric Sagstrom, the 'King of Ding' of internet poker. They must have played thousands of hours heads up on the net to finally find themselves playing heads up for real!

PLANET PEOPLE
David the DevilFish is not the only one to be aware of in this World Poker Tour tournament next Wednesday. Indeed, Mister Phil IVEY, runner up to the DevilFish in the WPT event recently held in Tunica, is coming to town and is ready for a re-match. At only 25 years old, Ivey's style of play deserved him an impressive total of 3 gold bracelets acquired during the 2002 WSOP only! Not to mention a fourth one he won previously. Looking at some of his poker results for 2002 only, I added up a total of almost half million dollars in tournament results for Mister Ivey. Who said a poker player can’t make a living out of tournaments? The Tiger Woods of poker is ready for another course I guess.
Young but multi poker title-holder and runner up in the last WSOP Championship is Mister Julian GARDNER, who will also make a stop in Paris to take a shot at the WORLD POKER TOUR first prize! Julian was ranked as one of the best poker player in Europe when he was only 18 and couldn’t enter any Las Vegas Casinos… Shortly after that, he won the prestigious European Omaha Championship at the ACF during the Euro Finals 2000. Julian is among the most promising poker players of the new generation!
