The Four Queens Poker Classic began September the 17th and will continue until October the 5, 2003.

The tournament producer is Ms Bonnie Damiano and the tournament director is Mr. David Lamb.

My husband "Oklahoma Johnny" Hale made arrangements with Ms Bonnie Damiano for me (Carol Ann Hale,) president of "The Seniors" Charities to be one of the co-hosts of the charity event which was held Tuesday the 23rd at the Four Queen's Hotel and Casino here in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"The Seniors" Charities has been approved by the IRS as a non-profit charity and and all gifts and contributions to "The Seniors" Charities may be tax deducible.

The charity event was scheduled to begin at 7 PM and 47 seniors signed up to play in the charity No Limit Hold em' poker tournament.

Each player paid $100 + $20 to enter the contest.. $100 of this went into the players cash prize pool to be divided by the ten players who would reach the final table in accordance with the Four Queens Poker Classic's rules .

The $20 administration fee was given by the Four Queens hotel to charity.

The players were permitted to re- buy and add on to their chips for the first three limits of play.

For each $100 re-buy and/or add on ( $25 went to charity and $75 went to the players cash prize pool) the players were given an additional 1000 in tournament chips to play with in the charity no limit poker tournament.

The senior poker players-- (must have attained the age of 50 to qualify as a senior)made 87 re-buy's and/or add on's .

There were several members of "The Seniors" Poker Players Hall of Fame who played in the charity poker tournament.

Mr Spike Gallas who will be inducted November the 15 during the Word Poker Final's at Foxwoods was introduced to the players as the player who will become the 50th member of "The Seniors" WCOP Poker Players Hall of Fame.

All money raised by the event for charity will be donated to Opportunity Village here in Las Vegas, Nevada in the name of and on behalf of all the poker players of the Four Queens Poker Tournament Classic, the dealers and staff of Bonnie Damiano, The Four Queens Hotel and Casino and "The Seniors" Charties.
