Tournament was underway just before 1600 so we will be able to provide you with a chip count for all players after the rebuy period at the 1700 update. Pictured above is Kathy Hudson, from Springfield, Illinois, part of the team assembled to run this poker tournament. Kathy has impressed everyone here with her tournament management skills. (Way to go Kathy).

One hand before the end of the rebuy period sees Steve Hegyi make a move to amass some chips. In a five way pot the final board read 3,4,Q,Q,7. Steve was quick to roll over his hand, announce to the dealer 'pass the sugar', he showed 2,3,5,7 OS. To the amazement of everybody watching no player could beat Steve's hand. So Steve takes down a 3,400 pot.

Michael Keiner from Germany, runner up from yesterday, announced he would be travelling to Australia to play live action pot Limit Omaha.

There were 27 starters, 4 departed during the rebuy. The start bank was 500 in chips and 80 rebuys has swelled the prizepool to around $9000 after allowing for dealers toke and 2% towards overall points.

Alex has won another pot against Australia's Steve Hegyi and is now the new chip leader holding in excess of 9K.

Marsha Waggoner (pictured) has just taken down a 6K pot against Jukka from Finland and is now well placed.

Peter Selby goes all in with Ah6hJcKc heads up against Steve Hegyi AJ44. The flop was 4h2hQh giving trips to Steve Hegyi and the nut flush to Peter Selby. No repeat on the turn or river for Steve and Peter takes a 2800 pot.

Constantin Harach, the flamboyant New Zealander departs in 18th place with 2 pairs on the flop, only to run down by Leo Boxell's pocket 2's which go to trips on the turn.

John Wylie goes in 17th place, beaten by a higher 2 pair from Albina. John was in front on the flop with 2 pair 8's over 7's. A 3 on the turn gave Albina K's over 3's and we say goodbye to John.

There certainly is a mass exodus of Kiwi's with Jamil (New Zealand 7/Card stud champion) leaving the tournament the very next hand in 16th place.

We are now down to 15 players and Leo Boxell, the reigning Australasian Hold em champion, is joint chip leader with 9k approx.

The blinds are at 75/150, 10 mins remaining before we go to 150/300 at which time we will announce all the chip leaders.

A large pot between Garry Bush and Alex Veronin. Garry bets 1600 (the pot) on the turn and Alex folds to yesterday's champ.

Alex Veronin in against Garry Bush again and Marsha . Marsha bets 400 on the flop, Alex calls and raises by 1200 and Gary folds. Marsha thinks and calls the 1200 and announces raise. She has put herself all in for $2775. Both players have the nut straight on the flop but Alex also had trips and picks up a flush draw on the turn when another heart arrives on the river to give him the flush and a huge pot and Marsha Waggoner takes 15th place.

Peter Selby (regarded by many as the best Omaha player in Australia) rolls over pocket 7's and with a 7 on the river, his quads take the pot and Lothar out of the tournament in 14th place.

Steve Hegyi (Bendigo’s tip to win a tournament this week) is still in the tournament to the surprise of some holding 4600. Alex Veronin holds 10.8k

Phil Cannon goes all in for $825 after two bets of $300. Alex Veronin calls the bet and both players turn over pocket Kings. Alex(KKQ2) has the heart draw and Phil(KK 43) the Club draw. The flop is 2A3 with 2 hearts, giving Alex the four flush. The turn is a 6 and the river a ten but no heart so Phil stays alive with a split pot.

Garry Bush remains in the tournament with 5800, looking very likely to place in the money again. The English players have shown they sure know their way around a card table and have impressed everyone with their poker skills and there gentlemanly demeanor at the tables.

The first hand after break and the blinds are 300/500.
The action has taken off at a super pace.
These players all know how to win tournaments and have decided they need to build their stacks and when the flop comes Jh,9c,Qc three players go all in and roll their cards.

The turn comes 6c giving Alex the flush and 2d on the river helps no one and Alex takes a $21,000 pot knocking out Peter and leaving Jukka short stacked with 200.

Yukka goes all in the next hand for his 200 with four way action. The remaining players check to the river and Jack Arama’s trip 4’s knock out Jukka in 8th place.

Alex Veronin (pictured) calls the 500 big blind, Jenny goes all in for $300, small blind folds and big blind Garry Bush checks. The flop is 8h 2h 10h.

Alex bets, Garry folds and Alex rolls Jc 10d 8c 8s giving him trip 8’s against Jenny’s Ad 4s 2d 2c (trip 2’s). No change on the turn and river and Jenny departs in 7th place.

Leo Boxell raises the blinds to 1800 and John Dalessandri then goes all in for 900. John rolls Kd Jd 9d 2d and Leo Ah Kc 10s 9s.
The board shows As3s9c 8c Ks giving Leo the spade flush on the river and 6th place for John.

The blinds have now been increased to 500/1000 and 4 players in to see the flop which is 7dJs3s. Michael moves all in for 3500 and Garry is the only player to call.

Michael rolls his hand and shows K108Q against Garry who shows A79K. The turn is a deuce and a 10 on the river to give Michael a pair of tens and the pot. This leaves our winner from yesterday with only $200.

4 players pre flop for $500 each. The flop shows 2s 3c 3d - all players check. The turns delivers a 4d and Alex bets 2000. Leo Boxell calls and the other players fold.

The river card is 8d. Alex first to act checks it and Leo Boxell from Australia puts himself all in for 3900. Alex calls and Leo rolls Ad 7d 8s 6h. Alex passes his hand face down and Leo takes the pot.

Garry takes his last 200 and runs it into 800 when his pocket Kings give him 2 pair to win the pot.

Again Garry is involved and this time in the small blind for 500. Leo UTG makes it 3500 to go and Garry comes in behind the raise for his last 300. Jack folds so we have a pot of 2400 and Leo takes it with 2 pair Aces over Kings.

Garry adds a 5th place to his win of yesterday.

Huge pot develops with Michael raising to 3500 pre flop. Leo calls and the flop comes K 3 8. Leo bets and Michael goes all in. Michael shows KK 69 and Leo AK 69. Turn is an 8 giving Michael a full on Kings. No help on the river for Leo and Michael wins a 33K pot.

Leo is all in for 1800 in the big blind. Alex bets 2000 UTG, Mike calls the 2000 and Jack calls also in the small blind. There is a main pot of $7200. The flop is Jd 3h 8c. Jack bets 5000, Alex calls and Mike folds. The turn is 2c. Jack bets 5000 and Alex calls all in for 5000.

Jack rolls Jh 10d 9c 3s and Alex shows Qd 10c 9d 5s. Leo shows 10h 5h 3d 2h. The river card is a 4h so Jack’s 2 pair on the flop hold up. Leo’s knocked out in 4th and Alex 3rd.

Jack wins a massive pot heads up against Michael with trip 3’s against Michael’s King’s up and is now holding virtually all the chips.

Soon after Michael goes all in on the small blind with K Q 35 against Michael’s K9Q6.

The board shows 2 8 4 3 5,giving Jack Arama 2 pair and first place in the Moscow Pot limit Omaha tournament
